The Hazy Hill

At the time of this shot, I had recently become photographically obsessed with mist, smoke, fog, and all things hazy. You can imagine how I felt as this scene unveiled itself to me in New Zealand. The most incredible fog hanging over the hills in the distance. Through the lens, it looked like a scene out of another land.
