Sunset Over Taupo, From the Mountains

As we thought our day crossing Mount Tongariro could not have been any more rewarding, sunset drenched the land in the most incredible colours. From our height on the mountainside, we saw a spectacular gradient from purple (not captured in this photo) all the way through blue, pink, and orange.
